BMW M

The driving dynamics of the BMW M3 Sedan.

Convincing on the racetrack. Impressive on the road. And particularly so with the optional M Competition package. This includes an engine output of 450 hp and numerous innovations derived from motorsport that further hone the sporty character of the vehicle. The specially tuned Adaptive M suspension, the Active M differential, M Servotronic or the seven-speed M double-clutch transmission all redefine the limits – and mark out the driver of the BMW M3 Sedan as an extreme athlete.

BMW M3 Sedan:
Fuel consumption in l/100 km (combined): 8.8 (8.3)
CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 204 (194)

The figures in brackets refer to the vehicle with seven-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic.

WELCOME TO THE LIMITS.

You can also tell that the BMW M3 Sedan is a genuine top athlete away from the racetrack. It always exhibits extremely precise, agile handling – above all in demanding driving situations. This is where the powerful M engine brings its thrust forcefully yet always in precisely measured doses onto the asphalt using the manual six-speed M transmission or – free of interruption – via the seven-speed double-clutch transmission.

M COMPETITION PACKAGE.

Thanks to an enhanced engine output and a specially tuned Adaptive M suspension, the M Competition package offers a noticeable increase in driving dynamics. The M sports exhaust system with black, chrome-plated twin tailpipes creates a powerful, full engine sound. The package also includes M lightweight sport seats and exclusive 20" M light alloy wheels with mixed tyres.

BMW M3 SEDAN TRANSMISSION VERSIONS.

The options of M 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed M double-clutch transmission in the BMW M3 Sedan allow you to choose how you accelerate your pulse from 0 to 180. They both guarantee maximum driving enjoyment.

ACTIVE M DIFFERENTIAL.

The Active M differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.

ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSION.

By electronically regulating the shock absorbers, Adaptive M suspension automatically ensures the vehicle is perfectly tuned to suit the driving conditions. The suspension settings can be modified for high comfort or sporty dynamics via the COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+ modes on the Driving Experience Control.

FOR 365 DAYS OF MOTORSPORT FEELING.

The transfer of innovative motorsport technology to the production of standard sports cars is a core competency of BMW M GmbH. This is why the BMW M3 Sedan achieves a perfect balance between adrenaline-charged performance and everyday utility.
